Meet Katie.
Katie Stiteley is a licensed professional counselor serving clients in Wisconsin, Florida, and Michigan, as well as a life coach, holistic health practitioner, and movement therapy practitioner. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Lakeland University and brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, holistic wellness, and real-life experience to her work.
Before entering the mental health field, Katie spent more than two decades in the financial industry. While successful in that fast-paced environment, she felt called to a more meaningful path centered on helping others heal, grow, and thrive. Today, she is passionate about supporting individuals and families as they navigate life's challenges and create lasting, positive change.
Katie's journey into counseling and holistic wellness began close to home. Alongside her husband, she explored therapeutic and holistic approaches to support their son, Jordan, as he navigated autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing challenges, and complex medical needs. This experience deepened her understanding of the realities many families face and continues to shape her compassionate, empathetic approach to care.
In addition to her private practice work, Katie has provided counseling services in outpatient clinical settings, helping clients overcome obstacles, build resilience, and achieve their personal goals. She is especially passionate about supporting neurodiverse individuals and families through evidence-based, strengths-focused, and trauma-informed care.
When she's not working with clients, Katie and her husband actively support community efforts that promote disability awareness, accessibility, and inclusion. Their commitment to advocacy reflects their belief that everyone deserves to feel valued, supported, and empowered to live a fulfilling life.
Meet Jordan.
Every meaningful journey begins with a purpose. For us, that purpose is our son, Jordan. His journey has shaped not only our family’s life, but also the foundation of everything we do at 8GK Consulting.
Jordan’s path has included autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing challenges, and complex medical needs. Like many parents, we quickly became advocates, researchers, and lifelong learners, seeking the therapies, resources, and supports that would help him thrive. Along the way, we discovered the power of combining clinical expertise with holistic approaches, creating environments where growth, connection, and resilience could flourish.
What began as a deeply personal mission evolved into a greater calling. Through years of learning, adapting, and celebrating hard-won victories, we gained firsthand insight into the challenges individuals and families face when navigating neurodiversity, mental health, and life’s unexpected obstacles. Those experiences inspired the creation of 8GK Consulting, LLC.
Today, 8GK is more than a counseling and wellness practice. It is a reflection of our belief that healing happens when people feel understood, supported, and empowered. We provide therapy, informed coaching, and holistic wellness services through a compassionate, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming lens. Our goal is to help individuals and families discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and create meaningful change because everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive.
