8GK Consulting is a CLTS provider, offering customized support and caregiver training for families of individuals with special needs, offering vital support, guidance, and resources to help them address and overcome unique challenges as a team.
We proudly accept Brown, Calumet, Dane, Door, Fond du Lac, Kewaunee, La Crosse, Manitowoc, Marinette, Milwaukee, Oconto, Outagamie, Shawano, Sheboygan, Waukesha & Winnebago County Children’s Long-Term Support (CLTS) services waiver funding.

In-home unpaid caregiver training to develop, strengthen, and maintain healthy, stable relationships among the participant and the natural supports who have a substantial role in caring for the participant.
Coping Skills: Building on the strengths of the participant and individuals who have a substantial unpaid role in caring for the participant.
Behavior Management: Direct instruction during times of difficulty due to loss, change, transition, or the participant’s complex medical or behavioral needs.
Allowable supports include:
Communication Strategies: Working on strategies for healthy approaches to reducing stress and balancing responsibilities.
In-home or community-based coaching: Coaching that helps increase caregiver capacity to support the participant’s disability related needs, reduce behavioral support needs, or improve the participant’s functional capabilities throughout different settings.
