NAMI Wisconsin is the state office of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization providing advocacy, education, support, and public awareness.
One in five American adults experience some form of mental illness. In Wisconsin, that translates to about one million people. One in every 20 adults lives with a serious mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or long-term recurring major depression.
